TANNERSVILLE, PA (November 19, 2021) - The Penn State Lehigh Valley Women's Basketball team held a 51-23 halftime lead against visiting PSUAC opponent, Penn State Shenango, and finished the game downing the visitors 93-72 at Northampton Community College Monroe on Friday evening. With the win, Lehigh Valley improves to 2-0 in PSUAC play.
Thirteen Lehigh Valley players got into the scoring column led by Sage Christopher, Taylor Styles and Samantha Columna all with 14 points. Korrina Plair pulled down a game-high 10 rebounds.
Lehigh Valley will have a quick turnaround when they host PSU New Kensington Saturday afternoon at 1 PM at Northampton Community College Monroe campus.
