CENTER VALLEY, PA (Nov. 16, 2015) - The Penn State Lehigh Valley Women's Basketball team opened their 2015-2016 season in the Rose City Classic dropping their first game against host Drew University, 84-50, Friday night and dropping Saturday's game to Misericordia University, 68-53.
Freshman Gia Erie paced Lehigh Valley with 12 points against Drew, shooting 6-8 from the field. Erie chipped in with 8 points and shot 4-4 from the foul line against Misericordia. Erie was named to the All-Tournament team.
Lehigh Valley will travel to non-conference opponent Keystone College Tuesday, Nov. 17th for a 7 PM tip-off.
