Penn State Lehigh Valley earned a 2 to 1 victory over Manor in a tight, competitive soccer match.

Lehigh Valley struck first with a punt from the goalkeeper, Michael Meyers Jr., through Manors back line that striker Trevor Digby, PSU-LV newcomer, was able to run on to and found himself 1v1 with Manor's goalie and put it in the back of the net to take control in the first half.

Manor picked up the pressure and fought back with a goal shortly thereafter when one of the attackers flicked the ball over Lehigh Valley 's goalkeeper to tie the game.

In the second half Lehigh Valley turned the momentum and took back the lead when Mateo Schneidt, another PSU-LV newcomer, smashed in a pinballing ball in the goalie box assisted from Jack Montesdeoca.

Lehigh Valley's relentless defense, expert goalkeeping and great managing of the remaining time helped them to see out the game for their first win in their first game of the season.
