CENTER VALLEY, PA (August 31, 2024) - The Penn State Lehigh Valley Soccer team opened their 2024 season with a 2-2 tie against visiting non-conference opponent Penn State Brandywine Saturday afternoon on the campus of Penn State Lehigh Valley.
Brandywine struck first with a goal within 5 minutes of the start of the game but Lehigh Valley's Jerod Younes would respond with 2 first half goals, one assisted by Shawn Venet and another assisted by Heriberto Hernandez. Lehigh Valley was up 2-1 going into the half then at the 78:22 minute mark Brandywine would score to tie the season opener up.
Lehigh Valley will host Central Penn on Tuesday, September 10th 4:00 PM at PSULV Campus Fields.
