SCRANTON, PA (February 14, 2023) - The Penn State Lehigh Valley Men's Basketball team came back being down 14 in the 2nd to having a chance to send the game into overtime in a 74-73 heartbreaking loss to host Penn State Scranton Tuesday evening. With .04 seconds left, Lehigh Valley's Jayln Williams was at the free throw line for 2 shots. Williams made the first but missed the second and a near tip in was not enough for Lehigh Valley to pull away with comeback win. The Lions drop to 8-14 overall and 5-11 in PSUAC play.
Three Lehigh Valley players were in double digits led by Dajour Douglas with 21 points. Jalyn Williams added a double double with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Myreon Gant chipped in with 11 points.
Lehigh Valley will have 3 regular season games remaining. They will travel to PSU York this Saturday for a 3 PM tip-off.
