YORK, PA (February 18, 2017) - The 5th seeded Penn State Lehigh Valley Men's Basketball team fell to #1 PSU York, 79-66, in the Semi-finals of the PSUAC Tournament. With the loss, Lehigh Valley finished the season with a 15-10 overall record, a huge turn around from a 2 win season in 2015-2016.
Zach Thomas led Lehigh Valley with 23 points. Sekou Mangassabou chipped in with 13 points and Jordan Young recorded 10 points. Lehigh Valley trailed 33-24 at half and would cut it to 10 but could not string together enough runs to advance to the championship.
The program graduates Jordan Young and Shane Schmidt and will look forward to returning majority of the team to make a championship push next season.
